Federica Zianni was born in Rome in 1993. In 2012 she moved to Milan to attend the three years of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. Her initially figurative sculptural works evolved into organic and abstract works. She graduated from the School of Sculpture in 2015 with honors. In the same year she exhibited at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan with Arnaldo Pomodoro in an exhibition curated by Marco Meneguzzo. She attended the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden until 2017 and the two-year course of the Sculpture School with Professor Vittorio Corsini at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, where she graduated in 2018 with honors. During 2018 she took part in national prizes such as the Combat Prize, the Vittorio Viviani Prize and the Comel Prize, during which she was awarded an honourable mention. In 2019 she was awarded the PRS Talent Prize and won the Rospigliosi Prize for the under 30 category. In June 2019 she took part in the GIFA (International Foundry Fair) in Dusseldorf and in August she took part for the first time in the Swiss Art Expo in Zurich.
