Roberta Melasecca: curatorship


 

Roberta Melasecca (1971) graduated in Architecture with honors from the University “G. D’Annunzio” Chieti-Pescara. She worked as a freelancer for 15 years in the field of restoration and architectural survey.

In 2012 she began working in the communications sector, writing articles in various online and printed magazines and curating the press and communication office for events and architectural studies. Also in 2012 she became head of the press office of the AIAC Italian Association of Architecture and Critics, of the editorial staff of the magazine presstletter.com and in 2013 art director of Interno 14, an exhibition space in Rome. She also began curating exhibitions and artistic and publishing projects.

Since 2015 she has been carrying out an intense press office activity in the art and design sector, founding the Melasecca PressOffice agency, taking care of the communication of hundreds of exhibitions, events and awards throughout the national territory. She collaborates with curators, artists, journalists, galleries, building networks and connections between different disciplinary areas.

From 2018 she directs Interno 14 next, a widespread interdisciplinary patronage project.
